Snow King Hillside
The southern boundary of the town of Jackson is formed by the Bridger Teton National Forest. Snow King Peak , which is the location of the “town ski hill,” is the most prominent feature of this area of the National Forest. Privately held land in this area benefits from the gain in elevation afforded by Snow King Peak, with the more southeasterly areas of this market area often having views of the Teton Range as well as panoramic views of the National Elk Refuge. Homes in this area will often include a lower “walk out” level as living area to take advantage of their site’s topography. More long-standing developments such as Snow King Estates and Aspen Highlands are populated with homes ranging from 20-40 years old that are typically of good quality, but also include more recently-constructed, high-end homes of contemporary, hillside design.
