Spring Creek
Driving around the southern tip of East Gros Ventre Butte the motorist will first follow Highway 22 and then head north on Spring Gulch Road for approximately ¾ of a mile, before getting to gain elevation on East Butte Road. Continuing up this road, Spring Creek Resort is nestled at approximately 900 feet above the valley floor. At this elevation, the illusion of an eye-level view of the granite spires of the Teton Range is stunning. The unparalleled views of this location was the impetus for the creation of Spring Creek Resort, a year round resort offering hiking trails, horseback riding, swimming and tennis for the summer visitor, while ski enthusiasts need only drive 15 minutes to the world famous Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The Granary Restaurant offers dining and frequently, entertainment, to make the experience complete for those who do not want to leave the “top of the world.” Homeownership opportunities vary from 1,200 square foot Harvest Dance condominiums to hillside single-family residences that approach 8,000 square feet in size and have commanded values in the mid-seven figure range. The location of Spring Creek in its own resort district provides the added benefit of short-term rental permissibility for homeowners wishing to generate income during their time away from Jackson Hole. Additionally, while not technically part of Spring Creek, the five-lot development of Stonecrop Ranch is also accessed off of East Butte Drive and offers a similar view amenity as most Spring Creek Properties in a very private setting.
